Over the weekend, I had the chance to return home and soak in the beauty of East Tennessee. There I was, in the back of my truck with Rosco, taking in the sights and sounds of our beloved region. It was a moment of deep gratitude, reminding me of the immense blessing it is to represent you as your congressman. Fighting for our values is no walk in the park, especially in the messy sewer of Washington—but it’s all worthwhile if I’m making folks like you proud.

As we all know, the forces of corruption and dark money are alive and well in politics. The next few months will be a real down and dirty fight to keep my seat, so I’m reaching out to make sure we’re geared up for the fight.

If you can chip in a few dollars, we will build a war chest to take on the bad guys and finish the good work we started five years ago.

I’m not stupid; I know they’re coming after me because I stood up to former House speaker Kevin McCarthy—and that’s fine by me. I’ve been through this song and dance before, and it’s nothing more than some grimy, vindictive political games.
