John, I’m about to ask you to
chip in to my campaign before my midnight deadline. But first, let me explain why your donation is so important.
Right now, there are zero women representing Maryland in Congress. Only one Black woman has ever represented Maryland. And it’s no secret why: For far too long, women, especially women of color, have been excluded from the “old boys’ club” fundraising network. They didn’t build the system for people like me. Like us.
Even now, my opponents can self-fund their campaigns and call up their wealthy networks to write them a blank check.
But I don’t believe that should be the only way to win an election.In fact, I
know it’s not.
The odds are stacked against me, but I know we can win by bringing together thousands of grassroots donors who believe in this movement.
We need to raise $5,284 by my midnight deadline to fund critical voter outreach and win this race. Can you donate before midnight to help me change the face of Congress and finally elect another woman to represent Maryland?

I’m so proud to be endorsed by the National Organization for Women PAC, a political powerhouse that has helped elect feminists to office for decades. I’m also thrilled to be endorsed by Higher Heights PAC, an organization dedicated to electing more Black women to public office.
Their support and yours is going to be invaluable in winning this seat and giving MD-06 the representation we deserve.
But I can’t do it alone. I rely on the support of grassroots donors like you who want to see more women of color in elected leadership to help us move forward.
