Partners for Children and Families Committee*



Reminder: The deadline to apply for the Partners for Children and Families Committee (PCFC) is *Monday, February 26*.

PCFC is a steering committee that advises the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) on innovative practices that affect the Texas child protection system. PCFC also advises DFPS on the evolution of the child protection system to its model of Community-Based Care and on the impact on the child protection system at large. This new advisory committee structure consolidates existing advisory committees [ [link removed] ] (such as the Public Private Partnership and the Committee on Advancing Residential Practices) under a core committee and subject-specific subcommittee structure. If you are interested, please take a moment to read the memo [ [link removed] ] and the committee overview [ [link removed] ] to learn about PCFC.

If you would like to apply to serve on the core committee or a subcommittee, please complete the application [ [link removed] ] and DFPS Form 0250 Volunteer Application [ [link removed] ] to authorize a background check and return them by February 26, 2024. You may submit your application by:
