Comedian John Oliver proposed a sweet deal to Clarence Thomas on his show, “Last Week Tonight” – he’ll pay the Supreme Court Justice $1 million a year and give him a luxury RV if he resigns from the Supreme Court. And he’s serious! What a great deal! We already know Thomas loves accepting lavish gifts from billionaires and Republican megadonors, and he clearly has no qualms about violating any code of ethics, so this should be a no-brainer. Clarence Thomas’ actions and his wife’s involvement in the Jan 6 insurrection have raised serious questions about his ability to serve on the Supreme Court.
