I never planned on becoming an activist, John.
I was a teacher for my entire professional career, and surviving the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting changed the course of my life.
Ever since, I’ve been using my voice to organize, plan, and advocate for change all across the country. Too often we hear from the gun lobby, and not from the students and educators fighting for gun control.
So I co-founded Teachers Unify To End Gun Violence to elevate the voices of other educators fighting for safer schools. And with your support, we’ll be able to spread our message all across America.
