Friend – The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) was enacted to protect Americans’ rights from surveillance abuses. The goal was to address the spying on American citizens that took place in the 1970s, as documented by the Church and Pike Committees.
But over the last several years, we’ve learned a great deal about FISA’s failures:
❌ Continual failure to uphold Americans’ constitutionally-protected rights.
❌ Secretive and one-sided processes invite the very abuse the law was intended to combat.
❌ Abuse is never addressed because defendants have no ability to challenge the validity of the surveillance warrants.
Friend, it’s time to end the unconstitutional spying on Americans and restore our 4th Amendment rights! No more sacrificing our freedoms in the name of national security.
