Hi John!
We are halfway through my favorite month of the year, and I want to shift our focus to an important topic — the power of the Black vote. Each generation of Black Americans has raised the standard and shifted the conversation in our elections — and this year, more than 34 million Black Americans are projected to be eligible to vote, accounting for 14% of all eligible voters in the United States.
But wait, there’s more! In Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Maryland, and DC, more than 30% of eligible voters are Black. And in states across the country, from California and Texas to New York and Florida, more than 2 million Black voters in each state could cast their ballots this year. Adding to the gravity of this moment, 5.7 million Black Gen Zers will be eligible to vote.
This is BIG!
John, the stakes are high, the legacy is rich, and the only thing left to do is to turn these numbers into active voters. Will you set up a recurring donation to help us reach more voters ahead of the 2024 presidential election? >>> [[link removed]]
