While the global community emerges from COP28, world leaders, climate experts, and stakeholders are grappling with increasing severe weather events and rising  global temperatures.

If left unaddressed, climate change could contribute to migration, further destabilize food and water systems, and negatively affect security and health around the world. Amidst these challenges what are the effective technology pathways that address climate change, and policies that will help ensure near-term impact?

On February 22nd, join Foreign Policy , in partnership with Florida International University, for a plenary discussion and debate at FIU’s third annual Environment Forum and examine what the future of climate policy looks like.

SPEAKERS INCLUDE

Dr. Kerry Emmanuel
Cecil and Ida Green Emeritus Professor of Atmospheric Science, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Susan Glickman
Vice President of Policy and Partnerships, CLEO Institute

Kent Lassman
President and CEO, Competitive Enterprise Institute
