It's happening: the walls are closing in around Lauren Boebert. 

Boebert is running in a brand new Colorado district 300 miles away from where she lives in which she has no ties, no residency, and no reason for running except to earn a lifetime congressional pension. 

Die-hard Republican primary voters are showing that they can be persuaded not to support her, despite her image as a MAGA fighter and her nearly universal name recognition.

"I don't appreciate, as a Christian, people saying they're Christian to get your vote and then turning out to be a lowlife" said a GOP voter in Colorado's Fourth district named Judy. "And now I just kind of think of her as a lowlife."

Similarly, a local Republican official told the Independent: "This just naked power-seeking behavior to save the seat...doesn't really sit well."
 
Independents and Unaffiliated voters who choose to vote in the GOP primary need to hear the argument that will defeat Boebert: she is only in this for herself, to save her seat in Congress, and to earn a pension.
