If there’s one thing recent Democratic wins prove, it is that voters will support experienced and dedicated leaders who will fight for our communities, over shock-and-awe newcomers who adopt MAGA extremism and promote division in our country. From New York’s Congressional District 3, to Pennsylvania’s House District 40 and Florida’s House District 35, Democrats are confident that we can continue to build momentum and win in November!
Latino Victory Fund hit the ground running in 2024 to fulfill our mission of building Latino political power at every level of government. We are excited about the Latino leaders who are running for office. Just recently, we announced our California and Texas endorsed slates, as well as an outstanding candidate for North Carolina Treasurer, Gabe Esparza; and two fearless Latinas in Pennsylvania, Shamaine Daniels for Congress in PA-10 and Mercedes Evans for State Representative in House District 103.
In California, the candidates are Rudy Salas, 22nd Congressional District, Luz Rivas, 29th Congressional District, Allyson Muñiz-Damikolas, 40th Congressional District; Kim Nguyen-Penalosa, 45th Congressional District; Mark Gonzalez, State Assembly District 54; Dulce Vasquez, State Assembly District 57; Joseph Rocha, State Assembly District 76; Frances Marquez, Orange County Board of Supervisors, District 1; Aura Vasquez, Los Angeles City Council District 10; and Mario Enríquez, Stockton City Council District 4.
And, in Texas, we announced support for Sen. Roland Gutierrez for U.S. Senate; Congressman Greg Casar, 35th Congressional District; Michelle Vallejo, 15th Congressional District; Rep. Victoria Neave Criado - State Senate District 16; Cassandra Hernandez - State Representative District 115; Kristian Carranza - State Representative District 118; Rep. Penny Morales Shaw - State Representative District 148; Celia Israel for Travis County Tax Assessor-Collector; José Garza for Travis County District Attorney; and Oscar Ugarte for El Paso Sheriff.
