Boozhoo John,
Vote today, Feb. 20, in the spring primary election!
If I could share a message today, it would be to embrace your beliefs with confidence, utilize your knowledge for the betterment of your community, and most importantly, vote. We as a community are capable of achieving far more than you may realize. By casting your vote, you have the ability to shape the world we live in.
This is the primary election that will decide which candidates will be on the ballot in the April 2 spring primary election. We encourage every eligible voter to make a voting plan!
Below are additional steps for you to take to ensure you’re ready to vote:
First, check to see if you’re registered to vote here [[link removed]]. If you’re not registered, you can register in-person when you vote. Just make sure you have a proof of residence document [[link removed]] for your registration and a valid photo ID [[link removed]].
Know what’s on your ballot. You can find a sample ballot on MyVote here [[link removed]]. You may not have anyone on your ballot for this spring primary election, so check ahead of time. Research the candidates so you can walk in with a well-informed voting plan.
You can vote in-person today. Make sure you bring a valid photo ID and know where your polling place is [[link removed]] (your polling location may have changed this year). All polling locations are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
