John – In just a few hours, I’ll be getting on the debate stage for the third and final time of this primary election cycle.
This is one of the last opportunities I have to show California that I am the best candidate to represent our state in the U.S. Senate.
As I get ready for the debate, I wanted to give you a few reasons why I decided to join this race:
Throughout my time as an assistant U.S. attorney, California State Senator, and member of Congress, I’ve tried to do the most good for the most people.
And during this time, I always focused on getting things done – whether that is increasing funding for public transportation and affordable housing or fighting to lower healthcare costs.
California needs someone who will take on the big fights, knows how to get things done, and reflects their values.
