The joy is in the details
Poynter may be a global leader in journalism ([link removed]) , but what does that look like inside our offices and across the world every day?
That's the question we'll be diving into this month.
Every February, Poynter welcomes its National Advisory Board ([link removed]) to our home office in St. Petersburg, Florida, for two days of conversation about innovations, opportunities and potential for the future of journalism.
This year, we're welcoming four new members ([link removed]) and unveiling our 2023-24 Impact Report ([link removed]) , where we demonstrate how our work is improving journalism at home and abroad, day in and day out.
As Poynter Neil Brown writes ([link removed]) , "Our job is to make journalism better and, in the process, make democracy stronger. That’s the goal: elevate journalism in service of democracy.”
Scroll down to see how our knowledge is distilled into the teaching we design specifically for you.

In this course, she'll walk you through discovering your formula, building it for growth and using it to combat burnout, and help you find a focused and sustainable approach to navigating the demands on our time, the opportunities in front of us and the relationships we cherish.
