At this sobering time for our country, I’m happy to be able to share some positive and exciting news with you—Vice President Jessica Anderson has been named as the new Executive Director for Heritage Action for America.

I am grateful to be able to leave this organization in such capable and dedicated hands. Heritage Action is currently in the midst of an important 2020 initiative to promote conservative policy in pivotal states—Iowa, Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania—Jessica’s leadership will ensure the continued success of these efforts.

Jessica’s tenure at Heritage Action started in 2010 as the first field hire for Heritage Action based out of North Carolina. She later served as grassroots director and grew her initial 200 activists into a nationwide network of 20,000 Sentinels. A rising star in Washington, in 2016, Jessica was selected by the Trump Administration to serve as associate director in the Office of Management and Budget.

When I was named executive director in 2018, one of my first actions was to ask Jessica to rejoin Heritage Action as vice president. Since then, Jessica has ably led our daily operations and relentlessly driven forward our strategic initiatives.

Without a doubt, Jessica Anderson is the best person to lead Heritage Action. And as the premier conservative grassroots organization, Heritage Action has an important role to play in 2020 and the coming years ahead.

Heritage Action is now ten years old and has seen leadership changes in the House, the Senate, and internally. Time advances and tactics shift, but through it all, our mission remains the same—to hold Congress accountable to conservative principles. We could not and we cannot do it without you!

Serving as Heritage Action’s Executive Director has been a great honor and privilege. I now look forward to joining you in supporting Heritage Action under Jessica’s vision and leadership.
