Today is Presidents' Day - a great time to remember the Presidents who have been champions of our environment like Theodore Roosevelt, Jimmy Carter and Joe Biden.
Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that climate change is “a hoax” and famously tweeted that global warming was invented by the Chinese government.
Trump’s climate record is horrendous. As President, he withdrew the United States from the Paris Climate Agreement, rolled back the Clean Power Plan and overturned the Clean Water Rule, opened the Arctic for oil and gas drilling, and weakened the Endangered Species Act.
And how could we forget when he used a Sharpie to extend a hurricane map because it didn’t match his tweet?
