My typical day consists of juggling meetings for work, changing diapers, making lunches, doctor appointments, constituent services, and so much more. And at the end of the day, I still need to set aside time to run a winning campaign for my election in 15 days.
Sometimes people doubt whether I can run my campaign while juggling everything, but I always tell them: That’s exactly why I’m running for office.
We need moms like myself in office who know firsthand what working families really need from our lawmakers. Moms who are ready to stand and fight for those needs. Moms who know from experience how to get stuff done.
