As of today, we’ve had more than 50 mass shootings in 2024. That’s more than one mass shooting a day.

From schools, to parades, to subway stations, the lives of innocent Americans have been put in jeopardy — if not stolen — by gun violence. Every life affected by our country’s gun violence epidemic is one too many, and it’s beyond time that Congress passes commonsense gun reform.

While Democrats like Whip Clark are laser-focused on building solutions that prioritize our families’ safety, the ultra-right is more beholden to extreme groups like the NRA and expanding access to weapons of war over human lives.

Let’s be clear: the reason that we all live under threat of a mass shooting, no matter where we are, is because of extremist Republicans' refusal to address gun violence in any meaningful way.

We can’t just sit back and let the GOP have their way with our lives. It’s time to stand up and say no more to the gun violence epidemic.
