Earlier this week, Susan Collins chastised her Democratic Senate colleagues as “disgraceful” -- for working to make sure the coronavirus aid package looked out for working people instead of just corporations and Trump cronies.

We think Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez put it best when she tweeted: “Collins voted for the GOP tax scam. She voted to appoint Kavanaugh. She’s defending an utterly corrupt bill to shower public money on friends and donors. Susan Collins is not a moderate. She just plays one on TV.”

Just yesterday, Republicans tried to block a vote on the coronavirus aid package because it provided too much support for the unemployed. Did Collins decide to take to the floor of the Senate to lecture her own party? Nope. Silence.
