John, this President’s Day, I’m reflecting on leadership.

True leadership means choosing to unite, not divide. It means reminding us there is no limit to what we can accomplish as Americans when we come together.

It means service — lifting everyone up, and making sure we’re not leaving anyone behind. It means increasing opportunities for our families to thrive. It means ensuring the safety and care of our neighborhoods.

Today, I’m especially inspired by the leadership of President Biden and forever grateful for his service to our country. President Biden has consistently worked in partnership with communities across our country to deliver real results.

That’s what true leadership looks like.

The policies of this presidency are working. We’re seeing historically low unemployment rates throughout the country, including right here in Maryland. We’re building billions of dollars of infrastructure projects across the country. President Biden is fighting for the future of this country, unlike Donald Trump.

There is still so much work to be done, but today, I want to pause to celebrate this administration’s historic achievements and say how proud I am to be part of the fight to re-elect President Biden come November.
