Last week, news reports broke that Donald Trump is planning a national abortion ban if he defeats President Biden next November. 

Look, here's the hard truth:

If that happens, everything that Michigan and 21 other states have done to protect reproductive freedom and abortion access since Roe v. Wade was overtuned won't matter.

It won't matter that Michigan's Proposal 3 ballot initiative passed by 13 points in 2022. It won't matter that reproductive freedom is now enshrined in the Michigan constitution. 

Our job as Democrats is clear this November. If we stand with Joe Biden, defeat Donald Trump, and elect Democrats up and down the ticket, we can protect reproductive freedom and stop Trump's ban from ever taking effect.
