 Jack xxxxxx, since day one, Republicans have used the crisis at our Southern border as a tool in their disgusting political games. But President Biden and congressional Democrats just offered to meet them halfway to help address the situation — and Republicans chose politics over progress:
Rather than working with Democrats to address the situation at our Southern border, Republicans made it clear that they would rather worsen the crisis so that they could continue playing political games. They made it clear that they’ll choose Donald Trump and MAGA extremism over our country each and every time. It’s disgusting. As long as extremists like Greg Abbott, Ted Cruz, and Texas Republicans like them hold power, we’ll never make progress on our state’s most pressing issues. That’s why it’s time for a change.
