OAC partners with OMA and Found to help close the gap in obesity care.

We are teaming up with the Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) and Found to help close the gap in obesity care! To ensure there are more certified obesity medicine experts to provide care to those in need, we're launching the Obesity Medicine Scholarship.

Found is funding two scholarships covering the ABOM Certification Exam registration fee, the review Course for the ABOM Exam, a one-year physician membership to OMA, a ticket to attend the OMA Annual Conference and a travel stipend. If you or a colleague are interested, apply by March 15, 2024.

Your voice matters! Participate in ICHOM’s quick patient validation survey for people living with obesity.

The International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) has been working diligently with international experts, including physicians, psychologists, and patient representatives, to define the outcomes that matter most to people living with obesity. The purpose is to ensure providers are measuring the most important aspects of patient health during the obesity treatment journey. The ICHOM is asking for people living with obesity to take 5-10 minutes to review the progress thus far and provide insights into whether or not any essential components are missing.

Take the survey.
