I’ve spent the past fifteen years serving North Carolina. I’ve advocated for consumers, worked to keep communities and families safe, held corporate wrongdoers to account, and defended reproductive and voting rights.

I love North Carolina – it’s my home. My wife Anna and I both grew up here. We raised our three kids here. They all went to North Carolina public schools, just like Anna and I did.

North Carolina is the best place to live, work, and raise a family. But I’m deeply concerned about the path our Republican supermajority legislature is taking us down.

They’re stripping us of our rights and attempting to institute far-right extremist policies that would drag us backward.

And if we lose the Governor’s Office to the GOP, they could get away with all of it.
