We're done with decline! It's time to show legislators at all levels that there are steps they can take to improve our transit service.
Jack - Will you join us tomorrow to ask elected officials to represent our routes?
Pittsburghers for Public Transit will host elected leaders at the local, state and federal levels, along with supportive constituent advocates, to lay out a coordinated strategy to fund world-class public transit service in Allegheny County. Investment in quality public transit service yields dividends for our regionโ€™s economic growth, for congestion mitigation and better air quality, for healthcare access and more. With a new generation of visionary political leaders who are committed, responsible, and able to deliver results for our region, our time is now.
Confirmed Attendees: County Executive Innamorato, Congresswoman Summer Lee, Senator John Fetterman's Office, Mayor Gainey's Office, State Sen. Lindsey Williams, Rep. Nick Pisciottano, Rep. Lindsay Powell, Rep. Dan Frankel, Rep. Jessica Benham, Rep. Joe McAndrew, Rep. Arvind Venkat, Rep. Matthew Gergely, Rep. Abigail Salisbury's Office, Councilperson Bethany Hallam, Councilwoman Barb Warwick, Councilwoman Erica Strassburger's office
