I will restore traditional teaching methods, such as phonics and memorization, that promote critical thinking skills and provide students with a strong foundation for success.
I will also ensure that teachers are adequately trained to teach these approaches.
Finally, I will prioritize providing resources to our teachers to help them successfully implement these changes.
Friends, we have allowed the Left to drive these common-sense approaches to learning out of our schools but I'm bringing them back to North Carolina K-12 as Superintendent.
