Dear John, The Alzheimer’s Research and Prevention Foundation (ARPF) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Dr. Chris Walling, PsyD, MBA, C-IAYT, FABP, as its new Vice President of the Board of Directors. Dr. Walling, a distinguished figure in the field of behavioral sciences, will also continue his vital role as Vice President of Education and Outreach, further solidifying his commitment to the foundation’s mission. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing Vice President, Randal Brooks, MA, LPC, for his unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions to ARPF’s growth both nationally and internationally. His efforts have been pivotal in promoting ARPF’s Memory Screenings across the US and Mexico, leaving a lasting impact on the foundation. Dr. Walling is poised to take ARPF’s mission to new heights, with a focus on enhancing educational outreach, creating more opportunities for community engagement, and improving access to preventive measures for those most at risk of Alzheimer’s disease. His prior work has already significantly influenced ARPF’s initiatives, including the groundbreaking Brain Longevity Therapy Training (BLTT) program, which has seen over 1,000 enrollments under his guidance. “Having Dr. Walling step into the role of Vice President is a moment of pride for us. Dr. Walling’s expertise extends internationally, with significant contributions to the field through lectures, peer-reviewed publications, and leadership roles in key psychotherapy and psychoanalysis associations. His clinical interests in relational psychoanalysis, somatic psychotherapies, human sexuality, and trauma psychology have positioned him as a leading voice in the conversation on mental health and wellness.
