Trump Forced To Pay $355 Million in NYC, Calls Decision a “sham”

National Review: Manhattan judge Arthur Engoron ordered Donald Trump and his companies to pay $355 million in penalties in a Friday ruling in the former president’s civil fraud trial, and placed severe restrictions on the real-estate mogul’s ability to do business in New York. Trump’s adult sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, each must pay $4 million. As part of the ruling, Trump Organization is banned from taking loans in New York for the next three years. In that same period, Trump himself is banned from “serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation or other legal entity in New York” (National Review). Just the News: Trump told a crowd Saturday in Waterford Township, Mich., that New York Judge Arthur Engoron is a “crooked” and “radical left-wing judge.” He called Engoron’s decision “an unconstitutional atrocity that sets fire to our laws like no one has ever seen in this country before. “That happens in banana republics. It doesn’t happen in our country. The case is a complete and total sham” (Just the News). Gateway Pundit: Following today’s ruling, Canadian entrepreneur and media personality Kevin O’Leary slammed Erdogon’s decision as “unjust” and “un-American.” “I don’t understand where someone got hurt … What developer doesn’t ask for the highest price valued for any building they built?” He later added, “If this judgment sticks. Every developer must be jailed. They must be found guilty. They must be put out of business. You can’t do this to one another. It’s not about Trump” (Gateway Pundit).

Squad Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) Urges Primary Voters To Snub President Biden Over His Support of Israel
NBC: Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., is urging Democrats in Dearborn, Michigan, to vote against President Joe Biden in the state’s upcoming Democratic primary. “If you want us to be louder, then come here and vote uncommitted,” Tlaib said in a new video posted to social media on Saturday while standing outside an early voting location. Tlaib, who is Palestinian American, cited her dissatisfaction with the Biden administration’s role in the war between Israel and Hamas as her reason for urging people to vote (NBC). Hill: Tlaib joins progressive activists in Michigan who have been critical of Biden and his approach to foreign policy. Tlaib has called for a cease-fire in Gaza and has been critical of the administration since the war started in October. She was censured in November for her criticism of Israel and the use of the phrase “from the river to the sea,” which has been condemned by Jewish groups as antisemitic (Hill).

Harvard Professor Does Study on Police Shootings and Finds No Instances of Racial Bias
Fox News: A Harvard professor said that “all hell broke loose” and he was forced to go out in public with armed security after he published a study that found no evidence of racial bias in police shootings. During a sit-down conversation with Bari Weiss of The Free Press, Harvard Economics Professor Roland Fryer discussed the fallout from a 2016 study he published on racial bias in Houston policing. The study found that police were more than twice as likely to manhandle, beat or use some other kind of nonfatal force against blacks and Hispanics than against people of other races. However, the data also determined that officers were 23.8 percent less likely to shoot at blacks and 8.5 percent less likely to shoot at Hispanics than they were to shoot at whites (Fox News). Free Press: “We didn’t find any racial bias in police shootings.” Economist Roland Fryer tells Bari Weiss about the 2016 paper on policing bias that led to his need for an “armed guard” for over a month and the academics who told him not to publish (X). Hodgetwins: Black Harvard Professor did a study on police shootings and says that “We didn’t find any racial bias in police shootings” (X).

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Announces New Military Base Near Southern Border
Townhall: Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) announced plans to build a military base camp near El Paso, Texas, while responding to President Joe Biden’s ongoing immigration crisis. The military base will house National Guard troops tasked with the sole responsibility of keeping the southern border secure and free from illegal migrants crossing into the U.S. Abbott said on Friday that the camp will be built on 80 acres of land in Eagle Pass and hold up to 1,800 Texas National Guard members. It will also have room to house an additional 500 members in an effort to keep the border’s security on lockdown. The governor said the first 300 beds should be ready by April, promising not to reduce Texas resources on the border any time soon (Townhall). Gov. Greg Abbott: Announcing today the construction of the Forward Operating Base in Eagle Pass. This new base camp will help improve conditions for 1,800+ Texas Military soldiers deployed to protect Texans from the chaos at our southern border (X).

Russia Threatens to Nuke the West if They Must Surrender Any Ground Gained in Ukraine
New York Post: A close ally of Vladimir Putin warned Sunday that Russia will launch Armageddon by nuking cities such as Washington and London if Moscow is forced to give up Ukrainian territory it has taken over. Dmitry Medvedev, deputy secretary of the Russian Security Council and a former Russian president and prime minister, threatened that the US and its allies would pay the ultimate price if Russia is forced to retreat (New York Post). Daily Mail: Hypersonic nuclear missiles would also strike ‘all other beautiful historical places that have long been included in the flight targets of our nuclear triad.’ He suggested Kyiv and the West should allow Putin to have the bits of Ukraine he thinks of as Russia. If they got their way, there would be a ‘direct and irreversible collapse of present-day Russia’ including its newly-invaded territories (Daily Mail).

Catholic Church in NYC Disrespected During Irreverent Funeral for Trans Activist, Atheist and Sex Worker
The contempt they showed the Catholic Church is abhorrent. Townhall: A very well-known New York City Catholic Church conformed to the Left’s progressive transgender agenda. St. Patrick’s Cathedral held a massive funeral for transgender activist, atheist, and former sex worker Cecilia Gentili. He was the first man who identified as transgender to have a funeral held at the St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The Daily Mail reported that more than 1,000 friends and family filled the church during the service. The outlet noted that guests wore unconventional clothes to the funeral, with some wearing crocheted crop tops, thongs, and fishnet stockings. Others drew hearts on their cheeks (Townhall). Mary Margaret Olohan: Yesterday, St. Patrick’s Cathedral hosted the funeral of Cecilia Gentili, a transgender, atheist prostitute. Funeral was attended by hundreds of trans activists in thongs/fishnet/halter tops/fur. They celebrated the dead prostitute by mocking St. Cecilia, saying: “This whore. This great whore. St. Cecilia, Mother of all Whores” (X)! Daily Mail: A picture near the altar showed a haloed Ms. Gentili surrounded by the Spanish words for ‘transvestite,’ ‘whore,’ ‘blessed’ and ‘mother’ above the text of Psalm 25. A mourner upstaged the priest at one point by singing ‘Ave Maria’ – but changing the lyrics to ‘Ave Cecilia’ before dancing through the aisles (Daily Mail).

Democrat Advisor Pleads With Democrats to Call Biden a “Great President”
Fox News: Stuart Stevens, an adviser for the Lincoln Project, recently claimed Democrats need to start calling President Biden a “great president,” and not just a “better choice” than former President Trump. “A plea to my Democratic friends: It’s time to start calling Joe Biden a great president. Not a good one. Not a better choice than Donald Trump. Joe Biden is a historically great president. Say it with passion backed by the conviction that it’s true,” he wrote in an op-ed for the New Republic. Stevens called on Democrats to frame the election as more than a choice between a “normal, stable president” and an “erratic thug” (Fox News). Biden’s administration does anything they can to limit his exposure so the world does not see his stumbles. RNC Research: CNN: “At this point in their presidencies, Obama did 422 interviews, Trump did 300 — Biden so far? 86” (X).

California Public Library Closing Because Crime Makes It Unsafe for Staff, Community
New York Post: A public library in California has shut its doors following months of rampant drug use, robberies and even public sex between the bookshelves as Golden State cities are held hostage by criminals. The Contra Costa County Library’s Antioch Branch that it made the decision to close beginning on Saturday until further notice as the “repeated dangerous incidents” have threatened the safety of its patrons. “During the closure, the Library will be working to implement further security measures so we can reopen as soon as possible,” the library service said. A library spokesperson told KTVU that this dire situation goes beyond typical bad library behavior like talking too loud, failing to return books on time or even vandalism and theft (New York Post).

Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine Claims Climate Change Effects Minorities More
So climate change is racist? Daily Mail: Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine has claimed that climate change ‘disproportionately effects’ the mental and physical wellbeing of black Americans. Levine, 66, made the contentious statement while speaking in a video aiming to enhance health awareness for black communities during Black History Month (Daily Mail). NBC: A study published in the journal Science Advances this month claimed extreme heat and wildfire smoke result in more hospitalizations for low-income communities and Latino, Black and Asian communities. The study cited structural racism, discriminatory practices and lack of medical insurance as major contributing factors (NBC). End Wokeness: Admiral “Rachel” Levine: “Climate change is having a disproportionate effect on black communities.” I wish this was satire. It’s real (X).

President Biden To Scale Back Aggressive Push for EV’s as Public Prefers Gas-Powered Vehicles
Daily Wire: President Joe Biden is reportedly preparing to ease its push to force electric vehicles onto American consumers as consumer demand for the vehicles remains low, dealerships have expressed serious concerns, and automakers have had to cut production and revamp production of gas vehicles (Daily Wire). New York Times: In a concession to automakers and labor unions, the Biden administration intends to relax elements of one of its most ambitious strategies to combat climate change, limits on tailpipe emissions that are designed to get Americans to switch from gas-powered cars to electric vehicles. Instead of essentially requiring automakers to rapidly ramp up sales of electric vehicles over the next few years, the administration would give car manufacturers more time, with a sharp increase in sales not required until after 2030, these people said. The administration plans to publish the final rule by early spring. The change comes as President Biden faces intense crosswinds as he runs for re-election while trying to confront climate change (New York Times).
