John, I’m having a TERRIFIC day.

The Prowers County Republican Party invited ALL local and state candidates to a Meet & Greet today, and Lauren Boebert wasn’t too happy to see me.

Lauren Boebert looks toward a camera with her eyes big and mouth open. She’s wearing a black cowboy hat, glasses, and a white winter coat. Event attendees sit at tables behind her.

Lauren Boebert’s face when I walked in.

It’s obvious why I make her nervous. Even at an event hosted by Republicans, in a room filled with Republican voters, I’m not afraid to challenge her.

In fact, I’m the only Democrat who showed up today. I came here to talk to voters about the important issues facing Colorado, and when I was done… Well, this photo speaks for itself.

A graphic featuring a photo of Lauren Boebert, three of her Republican opponents, and Ike standing at the front of the room of voters. Everything but Ike and Lauren Boebert is in black-and-white. On the far left, Boebert looks down toward her feet, a look of disappointment or stress on her face. On the far right, Ike stands with his hands wrapped in front of him, dressed in a suit, glasses, and cowboy hat. He looks at Lauren Boebert to his right. A blown-up cropped version of Lauren’s face in the photo rests between them.

If Boebert thought this election was going to be easy, then reality set in when she saw me walk through those doors.

With our team and your support, I know we can make it IMPOSSIBLE for Lauren Boebert to win this year – but we’ve got to keep it up.

February is a short month and we’ve got to hit our fundraising targets every single day to keep Boebert off balance. Right now we’re still about $4500 short on today’s target. Can you rush a donation right now to keep us on track?

I’m not afraid of a fight, but she might be. Let’s give her one and send her home in November.
