My opponent Mike Garcia launched a flurry of attacks against me. With Election Day just weeks away, his campaign sent out deceitful mailers to voters across the district.
I’m disappointed, but not surprised to see these tactics. It’s clear he sees our grassroots movement as a real threat, and is likely starting to panic.
Garcia is the last Republican representing Los Angeles County in Congress. He doesn’t share values with the people of CA-27, and voters know that his career in Congress is defined by his alignment with the extreme far-right.
I'm not a career politician, but I do know that we can't let attacks like these go unchecked. And the best way to push back is by doing it together -- with lots of grassroots contributions from folks who are ready to defeat Garcia and bring real leadership back to Congress.
