Since the Supreme Court’s disastrous Citizens United ruling in 2010, shadow money has flowed into American politics at an unprecedented rate. Our political system is becoming pay-to-play, with corporate PAC special interests buying undue influence in our political system by pumping enormous sums of money into our elections, without having to disclose their donors.

Can you trust someone who is beholden to special interest corporate PACs instead of the people they are supposed to serve?

Unlike my opponents, I am proud to say I don’t accept a dime in corporate PAC money. It means I have to work harder, but it is a principled stand because I believe our representatives should not be beholden to corporate PAC special interests.
