Republicans in our state legislature are already trying to suppress Arizonans’ voices at the ballot box. Not only is Rep. Rachel Jones working to ban early voting, she also wants to hand every electoral vote to the presumptive GOP nominee before Arizonans are even able to cast their ballots.
In 2022, with a strong grassroots base, we were able to elect voting rights champions in Governor Hobbs and Secretary of State Fontes, and since then they’ve made it a priority to make sure our elections are safe, secure, and accessible for Arizonans.
Democrats are just TWO seats away in our legislature from building a majority that not only enhances the security of our elections but expands access to the ballot box to ensure that every Arizonan has the right and the ability to cast their vote.
