National Salute to Veteran Patients Week

In addition to the heartwarming Valentine's Day love shared by our virtual volunteers, Soldiers' Angels in-person volunteers were hard at work all week, spreading joy in VA Hospitals and Clinics nationwide. During National Salute to Veteran Patients week, our dedicated volunteers provided comfort and companionship by sharing coffee, donuts, goodies, Valentine's Day cards, and visiting patients. Watch the video to see the Orlando event in action, or click the button below to view photos from other events across the country.

Do You Know this Service Member?

Yamil served our nation with honor, deploying to Afghanistan in late 2011. During his deployment, one of our Angel volunteers supported him by sending care packages filled with essentials and more. Yamil lost contact with his Angel after being medically evacuated from Afghanistan. However, his gratitude remained. In an attempt to reconnect and express his thanks, Yamil is on a journey to find the woman who significantly impacted his life. Read our recent blog for Yamil's full story!

If you were the Angel that supported Yamil, please reach out to us at [[email protected]] so we can reconnect you!
