According to reports from the Portland Press Herald, Pro-popular vote Democrats in Maine have now advanced legislation to join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and move our nation that much closer to ENDING the Electoral College, for good.

{FirstName or 'Friend'}}, States that join the compact agree to award their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the national popular vote. And if just 5 more states sign on — Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, Virginia, and Pennsylvania  — we will finally get this critical legislation across the finish line.
