Hello!
Thank you for following my campaign for the MN State House District 1B race.
If you haven't heard, I've decided to run this race under the GOP. I did a post on Facebook explaining why I chose this route: READ IT HERE.
This campaign will be structured differently then my prior race, with three different phases.
Phase 1 – Secure The GOP Endorsement
95% of the time, the endorsed candidate will win the primary if challenged, so it is important we do our best to secure that. The endorsement is decided by delegates to the Senate District 1 endorsing convention, which will be held on the 13th or 20th of April.
Delegates are selected on February 27th at caucuses across the state. Every precinct has at least 1 delegate slot, and every township has at least one precinct. Not every township or precinct will be represented at the endorsing convention because, in many cases, no one shows up for the caucus. If you are the only one to show for your township or precinct, you automatically become that precinct's delegate.
I estimate it will take less than 100 delegates to win the nomination, likely much less. In this district, whoever wins the GOP primary will likely win the general election, meaning 100 people on February 27th and 1 day in April could be all that is needed to win the election.
Phase 2 – Secure The Nomination (Primary Election)
We will be competing for the primary election regardless of what happens at the endorsing convention. If we do not secure the endorsement, the hill to climb will be steeper, as most automatically vote for the endorsed candidate over doing candidate resarch themselves. But, while the hill is steep, it can still be conquered.
Phase 3 – General Election
This will likely be the easiest of the three phases. Reaching this stage will have been the hardest part of the journey!
I am including a couple of links below. The first is a video that explains a little more about the caucus process. The second is an invite to an event being hosted by Action 4 Liberty on the 24th of February at the Boardwalk in East Grand Forks. This is a meetup for liberty-minded folks to learn more about the caucuses prior to February 27th.

It is important that we get as many people mobilized for the caucus as possible.
Please share this inforomation with your friends, and let's get those 100 delegates lined up! As I was reviewing the 2022 delegate list, it appears that over half of those slots were not filled. We CAN do this!
Please reach out with any questions!
