This week, my community received yet another attack mailer against me from Pennsylvania’s richest man, Jeffrey Yass. He is spending millions of dollars - more than $42 million so far this year - to defund public education and raise property taxes so that he can profit off of our kids’ education.
Of course, he doesn’t tell people that, instead lying about my record and using racist tactics to boot.
Yesterday, I was asked about these attacks by a constituent in a telephone town hall.

I am proud of the work I have done on behalf of my community and what our Democratic State House majority has accomplished for Pennsylvania.
Politics, however, can be ugly. When Mr. Yass darkens my skin or crudely photoshops my Indian-American face onto a White body, as he has done in all of these attack mailers, his racist tactics and dog whistling are crystal clear.
