I introduced the Protect Black Women and Girls Act and prepared for an information session with the IRS to help you get ready for tax season. 2024 Congressional Art Competition 

Attention IL-02 high school artists! My office is now accepting submissions for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition. The winning artwork will be displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol.

Protect Black Women and Girls Act

This week, I was pleased to introduce the bipartisan Protect Black Women and Girls Act. This legislation aims to establish an interagency task force dedicated to identifying and implementing policies at the local, state, and federal levels that will provide support for Black women and girls in housing, education, healthcare, and other areas.

IRS Virtual Information Session 

Join my office on March 6th for our Virtual IRS Information Session. IRS representatives will discuss the process for filing your taxes, IRS tax return processing times, how to avoid becoming a victim of fraud, and resources to utilize on the IRS website.
