I hope you and your family are well! I wanted to provide you with a few updates regarding what’s going on –

Impeaching Mayorkas

On Tuesday, I voted to impeach Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas.

Mayorkas failed to enforce our immigration laws, broke the trust of Americans, and allowed the invasion that is rampant at our southern border.

Mayorkas' failed policies and failure to enforce the law has resulted in over 8.3 million illegal border crossings in the last three years, as well as deadly fentanyl flowing freely through America.

By voting to impeach Mayorkas, I voted to deliver justice for Americans.

Defending the Constitution

This week, climate activists visited the National Archives in Washington, D.C., and began protesting and throwing red powder on the the display of the Constitution of the United States.

Climate activists showed contempt for the Constitution that enumerates their right to free speech and protest.

If you want to stomp on the Constitution, then renounce your citizenship and go to a country that shares your beliefs.

Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024

On Thursday, I voted to override Joe Biden's ban natural gas export permits by passing HR7177, the Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024.

If Joe Biden and his radical environmentalists actually care about reducing emissions, then they should have supported HR7176.

American LNG is 40% cleaner than dirty, Russian LNG. American LNG exports allows our allies to use a cleaner, more reliable natural gas and end their reliance on Russia.

Instead of supporting cleaner American natural gas exports, Biden banned the export of it to our allies.

Exporting American natural gas drives down the price of LNG at home and abroad. After Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, American LNG exports drove down the price of natural gas in Europe by over 83%.

Ending our allies dependence on Russia for natural gas is in America’s public interest for national security.

On Tuesday, I represented the Energy & Commerce Committee as a witness speaking in favor of the bill at the Rules Committee which cleared the final hurdle for HR7176 to be debated on the House Floor.

Let's be clear, Joe Biden’s ban on exporting American LNG is really his bolstering of the Russian war machine.

If our allies are forced to rely on Russia for natural gas, then Russia will capitalize on the lack of competition in the market and use profits to fund their aggression against Ukraine.

Biden’s ban on LNG ensures jobs and billions of dollars are lost for the American economy.

By passing HR7176 and reversing Biden’s ban on American LNG exports, we can generate $50–73 billion by 2040 to our economy and deliver 220,000–453,000 jobs for Americans.

Here’s the bottom line on Joe Biden’s ban on American LNG exports. This ban chills the natural gas industry and ensures we cannot realize billions of dollars in growth for the economy or hundreds of thousands of jobs for Americans.

It tells the world we will not stand with our allies and help them wean themselves from dirty Russian LNG. It ensures that climate goals cannot be reached because we are not allowing nations around the world to use cleaner, American natural gas.

I'm proud to have worked diligently to pass this vital legislation to push back on the reckless actions of the Biden Administration.

That's why I support an all-the-above energy plan that lets the market choose energy sources not bureaucrats and special interests in Washington.

Biden Sells Out China

TikTok is an espionage tool of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) which is why it’s banned on government devices.

Now, Joe Biden is selling out information to the CCP and giving them an open door to interfere in our elections by having his presidential campaign join the platform.

Just this week, we have heard liberals pretend to be tough on China while Joe Biden props up the CCP on TikTok.

Bidenomics Goes Bust

Bidenomics once again is proven to be making prices increase on every American.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased over last year by 3.1%. The CPI is higher than what was predicted because the prices of everyday goods continues to rise in Joe Biden’s economy.

Bidenomics means your dollar buys less today because of Biden’s failed economic policies. After the CPI report was released, the DOW plunged its “worst in 11 months.”

Under Joe Biden’s watch, inflation keeps rising and taking money out of the pockets of Americans.

Inflation is up 17.9% since Joe Biden took office. The cost of electricity, food, and rent keep going up because of Joe Biden’s policies.

I will keep fighting back against Joe Biden’s failed policies that make it harder for you to put food on the table, power your home, and to just keep more of your hard-earned money.

America is $34 trillion in debt while Joe Biden wants to keep spending money that’s not there to spend.

The first step to solving inflation is to stop Washington’s out of control spending!

Legislative Action

I cosponsored H.R.7270, Rep. Bank’s bill to forbid that any remains of the fetus’s of unborn children are present in any water systems.

I cosponsored H.J.Res.113, Rep. Arrington’s resolution to urge the federal government to amend the budget by cutting back on extreme spending and stabilizing the budget as a whole.

In the District

Congratulations to the SC Class 3A state wrestling champions, the West Oak Warriors from Westminster, SC!! To make the victory sweeter, West Oak made history with the win as it is the 3rd consecutive state title victory for the team.

Looking to grow fresh fruits and vegetables or maybe some flowers? Abbeville County Library's Seed Library recently opened for the year! Not only does the seed library help to ensure fresh food, but also educates citizens both young and old on how to plant and tend to the food or flowers.

The Seneca High School DECA club - a student led organization that fosters skills essential for careers in business, finance, and marketing - are heading to the state competition! Join me in cheering on these students as they compete for the chance to go to the International Career Development Conference in California later this year.
