John, can I have a moment to explain what is happening right
now?

Elections officials have officially sent ballots to every registered voter
in California ahead of the March 5 U.S. Senate primary. Once this
happened, my opponents started piling on. Immediately.

In reality, it started well before then — when Kevin McCarthy unilaterally
removed me from the House Intelligence Committee and Republicans passed a
sham censure of me for investigating Donald Trump.

But it’s continued. My leading Republican opponent Steve Garvey is
referring to me as a “radical” and called my work these past few years
“the single greatest threat to Democracy” during this week’s debate.

Another Democrat has decided that she cannot get ahead in the race unless
she tries to tear down fellow Democrats. That has never been my
philosophy. Her baseless attacks caused California’s former Senator
Barbara Boxer to end her neutrality and endorse my campaign.

No matter what kind of cynical attacks are still in store, we have one job
to do: Win this election and support Democrats up and down the ballot, in
California and across the country.

John, this is bigger than me. I’ve faced one attack after
another because MAGA Republicans will try to destroy anyone who stands up
to them or their leader, Donald Trump. I need you to stand with me today
