Immigrant youth and allies have been taking action 👏all 👏week👏long to demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza now and protections for ALL immigrants! We’ve been driving our demand to Congress by calling their offices, filling their inboxes, and yesterday we took to the streets!

Earlier this week, The Senate voted in favor of the Supplemental Funding bill without any anti-immigrant policy changes to our asylum system or funding for detention and deportations; however, our work is not done. This bill still supports war and genocide with billions of dollars in military aid to Israel.

Next, the funding bill moves to the House, where MAGA Republicans will try to reintroduce anti-immigrant provisions. Immigrants and people of color have long been used by decision-makers to advance policies that harm others. We need to keep the pressure on The House to deliver a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and protections for our immigrant communities.
