After another busy week, I'm excited to catch you up on legislative updates and local events.

SURVEY: IS THIS A GOOD USE OF TIME?

This week, House Republicans launched another baseless impeachment proceeding against US Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Rather than focusing on lowering costs for families, creating more good-paying jobs or actually trying to enhance border security, House Republicans are choosing to focus on impeaching a Cabinet official without any evidence of wrongdoing just to score cheap political points.

I voted against this impeachment because I believe addressing our broken immigration system requires comprehensive, bipartisan solutions, not political stunts and grandstanding.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

To celebrate Valentine's Day, I delivered over 100 valentines written by Inland Empire students to our seniors. It was wonderful to see how this simple gesture brightened their days.
