Dear John,

I hope you and your families are all healthy and staying safe.

As most of you probably know, we closed down our campaign office last week (for the time being), and my team and I have been working from home. I will not do anything that jeopardizes the health of our volunteers, supporters, interns, or campaign staff.

As a result, we canceled all in-person gatherings until further notice -- no meet-n-greets, no canvasses, no happy hours. We miss the daily personal interactions with our volunteers and folks throughout the district, but times like this call for an abundance of caution.

We will continue to be creative in staying connected with folks throughout the district and beyond. We're calling to check in with some of our most vulnerable friends; we’re using social media and emails to share public health updates given the very fluid nature of the pandemic; we’ve moved our volunteer efforts to digital platforms; I’ll host Facebook live town halls to hear about folks’ concerns and answer questions; we’ll use digital ads to get out specific public service announcements; and we’ll rely on all of you -- our friends, supporters, community members -- to offer suggestions about how we can all best stay fully engaged throughout this crisis.

Our first opportunity to connect during this period is tomorrow. Join us TOMORROW for our first town hall on Facebook live. RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/235736097602309/

Join us from 6:00pm to 7:00pm

We look forward to being with you, albeit virtually, tomorrow evening on FB!

Take good care,
Hiral
