**A CLOSER LOOK**-Vaccine Exemptions

Washington is the latest state to remove personal and philosophical
exemptions for required vaccinations. The state has had 80 cases of
measles this year. A Health Affairs paper from 2013 found that states
with the fewest barriers had the highest rate of nonmedical exemptions
from
vaccinations in schoolchildren.
