Hi,
Did you wear red on Valentine’s Day?
Bright colors in textiles, like red, are produced through azo dyes, which contain chemical compounds that can cause cancer. These dyes are banned in California and the European Union but, for the most part, they go unregulated.1
This is a common theme in fashion — there are currently no legally-binding laws to regulate the $2.5 trillion industry.
We need accountability in the fashion industry. Sign our petition demanding change. <[link removed]>

4% of global greenhouse gas emissions are generated by the fashion industry, which is the equivalent of Germany, France, and the U.K. combined.2 This pollution comes from billions of clothing garments produced every year, 85% of which end up in landfills.
The Biden Administration must call on the appropriate agencies to regulate clothing production. Our petition emphasizes reducing carbon emissions, restricting synthetic materials and harmful chemicals, banning unfair labor practices, and more. The fashion industry must change, and these initiatives play a vital role in mobilizing that change.
Flashy, red Valentine’s Day clothing may lure you in, but don’t let it win. Take action against the unjust practices of the fashion industry now. <[link removed]>
