I want to share a personal update on where we stand with Israel.



I was honored to visit the Holy Land recently, and my visit only strengthened
my support for our greatest ally in the Middle East. While there, I was able to
meet with the families of the hostages being held by Hamas and hear their
heartbreaking stories. And just last week, I met with Amir Ohana, the speaker
of the Israeli Knesset, and reaffirmed my support for him and his great nation.



In the wake of the deadly October 7th attack, the United States must remain
committed to Israel's security. I am a member of the bipartisan House-Knesset
Parliamentary Friendship Group, and I will always stand by Israel's right to
defend itself. The United States and Israel share the same values of democracy
and prosperity, and I am committed to upholding those ideals for both nations.
