I'll be direct, friend.

This weekend, my Republican opponent admitted that he “prayed everyday that Roe
v. Wade would be overturned.” These comments come just weeks after we learned
that his campaign is funded by over a dozen Republicans in Congress working to
pass a national abortion ban with no exceptions for the life of the mother.

He is completely out of touch with our community, but the fact is IL-17 is
listed as the single most vulnerable Democratic-held seat in the state. National
Republicans are sparing no expense, rallying behind their anti-choice, far-right
candidate, Joe McGraw.

I'm committed to fighting for legislation like the Women's Health Protection Act
to codify Roe v. Wade into law, and I'm proud to have been endorsed by groups
like NARAL Pro-Choice America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund for the work
I’m doing. Since our campaign is powered by individual donors, I need to ask:
