Please join us in congratulating Emmanuel MauleĆ³n, J.D., on his new position as an associate professor of law at the University of Minnesota Law School. Emmanuel currently serves as the Bernard A. and Lenore S. Greenberg Legal Scholar Fellow at the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law, where he teaches courses on Race, Sexuality, and the Law and Latinas and the Law. At Minnesota Law, Emmanuel will be teaching Criminal Procedure Investigations, Property, and Critical Race Theory.

** Law Fellow

The Williams Institute is hiring a law fellow with 0 to 2 years of post-graduate work experience to engage in cutting-edge and high-quality research and analysis related to sexual orientation and gender identity law and public policy. The Fellow will provide research and writing support to senior scholars and will contribute to self-published reports, academic articles, public comments, amicus briefs, and other Institute work. This position is for two years and will begin in August 2024. The job will be based in Los Angeles, California, with a hybrid office schedule.

** Senior Scholar of Public Policy

The Williams Institute is looking for an experienced scholar who specializes in LGBTQIA+ people and issues to join their team as a Scholar of Public Policy. The Scholar will be responsible for conducting original research, supervising and supporting early career staff, and engaging with a variety of stakeholders. Applicants who use intersectional and community-based approaches in their research are encouraged to apply.
