Medicare Action Alert
John, over the last few weeks, the NCOA community has stepped up in support of a program that helps older adults afford their Medicare costs. More than 13,000 messages were sent to members of Congress.
Legislators have taken notice. Now it's time to push this issue across the finish line of March 8, the deadline to fund the government.
Contact your Representative while the House is in recess next week.
Many legislators are back home next week, listening to constituents' concerns and priorities. Give their district office a call, or attend one of their local events! If you don't have the opportunity to do so, you can always use our simple form to send a message.

This Medicare assistance program has proven its worth. That's why it enjoyed bipartisan support from Congress for 15 years. Unfortunately, it's now being used as a bargaining chip.
With all the pressing issues facing Congress right now, we need to make sure the health of vulnerable older adults doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
