Women’s History Month means so much to us on Team Long, where we’re fighting every day to elect a strong, Democratic woman who will stand up for our community when it matters most. John, in 2018 we saw a wave of Democratic women elected to every level of public office across the country -- and together, they’ve passed hundreds of bills from protecting educational rights to expanding health care coverage. Protecting access to affordable health care is a big reason we’re fighting to get Carolyn to Congress, too: We know she’ll fight for each and every woman. That’s why, John, we hope you’ll join us this Women’s History Month in pledging to support Democratic women on the ballot in 2020.
The fact is that access to affordable health care is under constant threat from Trump Republicans. But now more than ever, we need to ensure that we’re investing in leaders who will work towards health care for all. John, it’s imperative we support more Democratic women candidates who will stand up to Republicans’ dangerous legislative attacks.
