Throughout February, Zeldin Cares and Arctix have been working hard to finish distributing over $5 million in NEW Arctix Dakota Project apparel, including coats, hats, gloves, and boots to Americans most in need.

Just last week, we shipped over $80,000 worth of gear to Streetscape, a group combating homelessness in Boulder, Colorado. Streetscape’s founder spent 5 years on the streets of Boulder, suffering severe frostbite, but now gives back to the homeless community she was once a part of. We also partnered with Angels in Camo, a great group serving homeless vets in Great Falls, Montana.

In New York, we recently sent over 4,000 apparel items to organizations in New York City, Rochester, and on Long Island. We partnered with General Needs to send over 500 apparel items to homeless veterans at the Borden Avenue Veterans Residence in Queens, and shipped 1,000 garments to those in need in the Bronx through Reverend Ruben Diaz and the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization. We also worked with the Rochester Open Door Mission to get apparel to the homeless population in inner city Rochester.

We would not have been able to make the Arctix Dakota Project a success without your help. With warmer weather on the horizon, this project will soon be wrapping up for this season, but Zeldin Cares is working hard to uplift underserved communities across New York with additional projects moving forward.
