Wyoming Cannot
Afford More Reckless Spending from Washington

As Wyoming families struggle to
keep up with the soaring cost of living due to inflation, the
Senate this week considered a $95 billion-dollar foreign aid
package for Israel, Ukraine and Taiwan.

I am concerned about the
situations in both Israel and Ukraine but cannot in good
conscience support efforts to add $95 billion to our already
staggering national debt - a debt the people of Wyoming will be
forced to pay.

Reckless spending in Washington
does not happen in a vacuum, and this week's inflation report
confirmed just that as total inflation under President Biden
soared to 17.9%.

Beyond creating the highest
inflation in 40 years, Washington's spending addiction has also
rapidly changed the federal government's budget. $0.44 of every
dollar paid in taxes currently goes to paying interest on the
debt.

Our country is rapidly
approaching a reality where a majority of every dollar paid in
taxes is used to pay off yesterday's debt instead of solving
today's problems.

We cannot continue irresponsibly
printing money to address crises overseas without doing anything
to fix the very serious problems our own country faces, including
at our southwest border.

Before we send another dollar
overseas that is not paid for, Congress needs to get our own
fiscal house in order and secure our own border.

Happy Trails,

WYOMING SHOUT OUT

This week, Chip and Tootsie Roll
spent Valentine's Day spreading love to 29 seniors at the Amie
Holt Care Center. Wearing twinkling heart headbands, these two
adorable miniature horses spent the afternoon nuzzling residents
and staff-and even earned a treat or two. Chip's owner, Sheridan
veterinarian Candice Carden, said the idea started a few years
ago in Sheridan when her daughter Kamryn unexpectedly led their
miniature horse into their home.

One call later, they had plans to
visit their local facility alongside friend Nicole Henry and her
horse Tootsie Roll. The visit was such a huge success that they
have now expanded to most major holidays which always features
the horses dressed to fit the theme. The facility's residents
always eagerly anticipate their visits!
